Tourist Attraction Around Janpath Market

Jantar Mantar

Jantar Mantar is the tourist attraction place which is also known as Mantar Mantra. It is the point which is situated in New Delhi, a part of Modern City. Jantar Mantar is the place which is known for its 13 instruments which are the architectural astronomy. This is the site which was constructed during the time of Maharaja Jai Singh II, a king of Jaipur dynasty. It was one of the main achievements of Maharaja because it was the fifth built structure of him. Due to the mistaken in the observatory it is found that the Jantar Mantar got constructed in the year of 1710 but after that the date was corrected to 1724 as its actual construction of Jantar Mantar.

There was the observatory there which works for determining the actual movement and exact time of the solar system in which some of them now considered as astronomy.

Central Park

Another attractive point in Delhi is the central Park. It is located above the metro station of Rajiv Chowk. It is the park which is layered with the public at Connaught almost every time. It is the park for all to enjoy and get relaxed whether they are single or they are coupled. This is the park which open for the public in the year 2006 four years after the date which (DMRC) has decided. Central Park attracts the large number of crowd towards it.

Bangla Sahib

Bangla Sahib is the famous Gurudwara which is one of the most prominent Gurudwara for Sikhs. It is the Gurudwara which was formed by the Eighth guru of sikh, Guru Har kishan during his time. It is the place where there is a pond which is known as Sarovar. Sikh considered this pond as a holy pond and they call the water of the pond as ‘’Amrit’’. In the year 1783, it was formed as the small temple by the general of Sikh, Sarder Bhagel Singh. This Gurudwara is located near the area of Connaught and attract the eye of tourists for the dome which is golden and for the flagpole which is known as Nishan Sahib.

Hanuman Mandir

Hanuman mandir is the temple where there is a worship of god Hanuman. It is the temple which is very ancient and one of the temple of the time of Mahabharata. It is located near the area of Connaught. There are some other famous temples too in Connaught place. They are temple of Kalkaji where there is a worship of goddess Kali and located in the part of South Delhi, temple of Yogmaya which is located near the Qutub Minar, Temple of Nili Chatri Mahadev which is near the ghat of Nigambodh and the last one is the temple of Bhairav J which is the temple near the purana Qila of Delhi.

India Gate

India Gate is the other attractive points for the tourists to visit. It is 42 m in height which structured like an archway ‘’Arc-de-Triomphe’’. It is located in the centre point of Delhi. It is the place which is meant for commemorates the soldiers of India who serve their lives in fighting with the British Army and sacrifice their lives for India. There is a memorial there which bears all the names of the British and the Soldiers who fought for India who were killed in the war of Afghan in the year 1919.

National Gandhi Museum

There is a museum in Delhi which highlights all the facts relating to the legend Mahatma Gandhi. It is the museum where one can come to know about the principles and living structure of Mahatma Gandhi. The museum based on the Mahatma Gandhi first opened in the city of Mumbai after when the Gandhi assassinated in the year 1948. It is the museum where there is best collection of photographs, journals, books etc which directly highlights the matter on Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi is known as the Father of the Nation. It is the best place for those who are the follower of Gandhian thoughts.
